[VCFamilia] Issue #8 - LatAm Investing, Asian Latinx VCs, and more

Welcome to VCFamilia Issue #8. This is a biweekly update to keep you in the know about everything going on in the Latinx venture community.

If you are a VC who identifies as Latinx and would like to join the slack, please fill out this form. Feel free to join the Linkedin group that includes allies + follow us on Twitter.

Coming Up:

  • LatAm Investing: Daniel Bilbao, CEO of Truora + Lightspeed scout + angel investor in LatAm, will be speaking in an exclusive VCF Cafecito May 25th at 2:30pm ET about how to invest in the region. He is specific looking for Latinx investors to join the event if they're serious in supporting more LatAm founders, so if you're interested, please fill this form. It is a small session based on speaker preference so not all will be accommodated.

  • Asian Latinx VCs: As you may have seen from our past events on Latinidad, Afro-Latinx narratives in VC – Latinx people are diverse, multi-racial, multi-ethnic, multidimensional. We're continuing the conversation and creating visibility for the Asian Latinx intersection Thursday May 27th 7:30pm ET - RSVP here!
