After years of vibrant events and connections spanning from New York to San Francisco, we're taking the next big step with you – LaFamilia is launching local chapters nationwide! To start, we are starting with chapters in San Francisco, Chicago, New York City, and Miami.

🤝 Our chapters will focus on Deepening Connections and Community Action at a time when our communities need it the most: Our mission has always been about fostering community action and intentional relationships. We've seen the power within each one of you, and this has given us a lot of optimism that a stronger and better Latine startup ecosystem lies ahead.

🌐 City Leads Wanted: To spearhead these exciting chapters, we're on the lookout for passionate individuals – to start one VCFamilia and one FounderFamilia member per city. Together, let's build bridges for a powerful Latine startup ecosystem!

We are excited to announce the launch of VCFamilia's Inaugural Mentorship Program, made possible by the generous support of Google Ventures. This program is meticulously designed to empower and uplift junior investors within the Latine community, showcasing our unwavering dedication to fostering growth, success, and diversity in the venture capital landscape.

Our theme last quarter "Pitching & Presence" was a resounding success, as we collaborated with Robbie Crabtree, CEO and Founder of Competitive Storytelling. Together, we equipped founders with invaluable insights and tools essential for effectively articulating their origin story and value proposition across various contexts, from investor pitches to addressing audiences.

As we transition into the second quarter, we are poised to build upon the foundations laid in Q1.
