Latinx Leaders Issue Joint Statement on VC Funding Report

As some of you might have seen, two articles hit the market today on WIRED and Crunchbase.

TLDR; funding for Latinx founded early-stage startups decreased from 1.5% (2020) to 1.2% (2021) of total venture funding.

We are appalled that the venture ecosystem continues to overlook our communities potential and continued contribution to the growth of American business. VCFamilia has united with fellow organizations and released a statement condemning the disconnect and encouraging our community to increase investing in U.S. Latinx founders.
