Monadd, a Latin-founded AI startup based in Miami, is making waves with its innovative platform designed to help people manage their bills and home services. Founded by Jessica Mendoza, the company was selected for the AWS Impact Accelerator program, which is expected to further boost its growth and visibility. Monadd's platform utilizes limited consumer information and requires users to input their residence. It then employs AI to identify and monitor bills and services associated with that residence, making it especially valuable for those in the process of moving. The startup has gained traction, having 6k-10k users and plans to increase its visibility further in the coming months. With the support of the AWS Impact Accelerator program, Monadd is poised to continue developing new features and expanding its user base.

LaFamilia LA Coworking Session & Happy Hour brought by Cooley

Thank you so much to all of the LA familia who came out for our Coworking Day and Happy Hour last week! The whole crew met up at Cooley’s offices in Santa Monica and engaged with their team for some programming after lunch. Following a day of building and sharing, attendees walked over with the Cooley team to The Surfing Fox for a sunset Happy Hour where the fun continued.

First Tech Fund’s Dual Internship Impact Program

Calling all NYC startups!!!

Launched in 2023, First Tech Fund’s first internship program pairs college students with an entrepreneur of color while covering the cost of the intern’s stipend. Start-ups have access to amazing talent and can grow their bandwidth while our interns gain valuable experience in a startup environment.

🔊They are looking to source 20-25 internship partners, preferably via startups founded by women or people of color, who can host 1-2 interns at their companies and provide 20 hours weekly of meaningful work for the 8-week internship.

Primarily, they’re looking for NY-based startup partners across verticals, from health tech to climate to nonprofits and more. FOR ALL STARTUPS INTERESTED- please submit this interest form and the FTF team will get in touch towards the end of 2023 to set up a time to connect!
