Founder to Watch: Christopher López

Christopher López is a Mexican entrepreneur building the future of cross-border tax compliance. Raised in Querétaro by parents who ran a corner shop during Mexico’s 1990s economic boom, Christopher grew up watching entrepreneurship as a necessity, not an option. That mindset shaped his path early on and later, he became a CPA and spent four years working in fintech in the U.S., combining his interests in accounting and software. But the founder path kept calling. Christopher returned to Mexico and launched a tax firm only to realize the real opportunity wasn’t services, it was tech. That insight led him to close the firm, join Techstars Miami, and build valarix.
