Founder to Watch: Eric Xavier Macias

Born and raised in Chicago to Mexican immigrant parents, Eric Xavier Macias grew up watching his family build businesses from the ground up. That entrepreneurial grit, paired with a deep commitment to underserved communities, shaped his path from Teach For America to McKinsey & Company to the Executive Leadership Team of a high growth digital health company (~$5B valuation).

Today, he is the founder and CEO of HolaVida Health, an AI-native telehealth platform delivering specialty care for Latino communities, focused on cardiovascular health, diabetes and mental health. Since launching in July 2025, HolaVida has grown to 8-figure ARR and is live in 10 states, powered by a culturally intelligent care model that combines AI driven translation with bilingual care navigators to build trust at scale.
