Welcome to 2024!!! Over the last few months, the LFF team has been working feverishly to make 2024 our most impactful and engaging year yet. We have listened to our community and what’s going on in the ecosystem and are thrilled to share that this year’s program is in direct correlation to all the feedback we’ve learned.

💥 2024 LFF Programming 

LaFamilia is beginning its next phase, where the programming’s focus is shifting towards formal programming and scaling back the in-person event efforts. The events held nationwide, including those during Hispanic Heritage Month, played a crucial role in expanding our community and fostering strong relationships within LFF. Now, with just under 1000 members, our objective is to further enhance the impact we have on the Latine founder and investor ecosystem by implementing more comprehensive projects and programs. These initiatives are designed to provide substantial support, accelerate community growth, and measure progress effectively.

For all the programming in 2024 we will be combining virtual and live sessions that will build off of each other which will include curated educational webinars, peer support programs, mentorship, and collaborative live industry events. We hope that all of you will join us this year as we ramp up our initiatives and impact for our community!

2024 FounderFamilia Programming Snapshot: 

Quarter 1: Pitching & Presence

• All quarter we will be running virtual and live sessions that will increase your ability to pitch your company and fine-tune your presence while presenting

• Topics covered: Storytelling Foundations- the Founder & Brand Story, Storytelling For Fundraisings, Public Speaking & Stage Presence, Pitching to Investors Prep, & Pitch Practice Sessions

Quarter 2: Traction & Growth

• This quarter will focus on how you measure and speak to the progress you have made. This has become increasingly important as capital has become harder to raise.

• Topics covered: Metrics that Matter & OKRs, Customer Acquisition & KYC, GTM strategy, PMF, Building your MVP

Quarter 3: Sources of Capital & Raising

• We will be bringing in capital providers from across the spectrum to speak about what they look for and how you can best approach them.

• Topics covered: VC AMA live sessions, Understanding risk, Understanding your cap table, Angel Investors: How to find and pitch to them, VC: how to get warm intros and set up meetings, Overcoming Investor Bias, Legal context around raising and Cap Tables  

Q4 Running a Better Organization

• Everyone is talking about AI. In addition to AI, how can you set up an efficient organization that maximizes your chances of success?
